We exist to transform lives for Jesus Christ through evangelism, discipleship, and training.

Our Mission

Grace Bible Mission Society seeks to reach all lost people of every persuasion, with the truth of the Gospel of grace which is “the power of God unto salvation”. (Rom 1:16) To this end, we exist to transform lives for Jesus Christ through evangelism, discipleship, and training.

Our Goals

Our goal for all lost people is embodied in the prayer of Jesus Christ, ‘And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent” (John 17:3). Our Gospel presentation will be made in love to all with the desired end of salvation, godliness, and growth through incorporation into biblically sound churches.

We also seek to work alongside like minded churches to disciple & train people gifted in evangelism to be better ambassadors for Christ (2 Cor. 5:17-21).

“…pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ...”

Our History

In the mid-1940’s, Walter Wilson and George Weiss founded a ministry that eventually became known as the Messianic Witness of Kansas City. The purpose of this ministry was to reach the Jewish community of Kansas City with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2004, Messianic Witness of Kansas City added the Catholic community to its mission statement and changed its name to “Grace Bible Mission Society”. Then, in 2009, with the addition of new missionary partners, the outreach focus was again enlarged to include the Muslim community.

Throughout our nearly 75 years of existence, we’ve grown not only in the types of communities in which we minister but also in our geographic dispersion. What started as a ministry based in and targeted to the Kansas City area has grown to include several other major cities of the U.S. as well as Tokyo, Japan. We are actively seeking qualified and gifted people from many parts of the U.S. and the world to join us as missionaries in this ministry. Might one of those people be you? If so, please contact us.
